I am an assistant retired clergyman here at St Sampson's taking mainly services. My wife Jane and I bought a house in Cricklade in 1996 and retired here later. We have two sons, Matthew and Duncan and one grandson Tobias. Jane died in 2015. Then in 2019 I met a widow, Dawn and we married in September 2020 (during Covid 19)

I was ordained in 1974 in St Albans Abbey and served Title in St Mary's Church, Luton. I joined the Royal Air Force Chaplains Branch in 1978 and served in various home postings from Scotland to Hampshire. Our overseas tours included Berlin, then W. Germany, with detachments to Belize, Ascension Island, The Falklands, and the first Gulf War via Turkey. I left the Chaplains branch in 2000 to become Vicar of Kyrenia. N. Cyprus. We returned to the UK in 2004 and I became Vicar of Lyneham until 2007 when I retired due to Jane's illness. I was educated at Durham and Cambridge Universities (Ridley Hall).
