Worship for families & young people

Families, children and young people are welcome at any of our services at St Sampson's Church, Cricklade. However, there are some particular services with activities especially for them...

Children's activities at Morning Worship

At Morning Worship once a month (usually the first Sunday), we have self-led craft activities for children during the service. There is a music group leading the worship and it is a less traditional service with no Communion.

Informal Worship – children's and youth groups

Meets at 4pm for worship once a month and for a social once a month on Sundays. Please contact Sarah Smith via admin@upperthames.org.uk if you’d like to know more about dates and timings or go to the Calendar

It's a relaxed time to find out more about God and the Christian faith with:
  • Relaxed family-friendly church for all ages
  • Modern songs played by guitar/keyboard
  • Short lively and relevant talks
  • Groups for school-age children and teenagers (Vibe Club) will be returning soon!
  • Toy area for babies and toddlers in the Church
  • Refreshments before and after
  • Socials  - lots of fun from rounders or a walk to baking or swimming!

New to Church or haven’t been for a while? Don’t worry, you will be made very welcome. If you want to chat to someone before you come, just contact us
